FAQ
How do I book a shoot?
You can contact me via email at kerryreidphotography@gmail.com and I would be happy to discuss your session with you over the phone, following your email enquiry.
What should I wear for the session?
The best choices are neutral colours and or complementing colours, keeping the shades the same for all participants. Avoid logos, text, patterns etc.
Long flowy dresses are good for women & girls. Same shade shirt for men & boys with smart trousers.
I have some outfits for girls & women that can be used for fine art sessions. These are mostly rich colours and earthy tones.
I can offer further advice over the phone before the session.
Newborns should arrive in loose fitted clothing ready to be changed into my wraps and outfits.
What is your typical timeline?
I usually book clients in, within 3 months of enquiry.
Images are typically completed within 1 month of the photography session.
What payment methods are available?
Payment is to made via bank transaction to my account before the session.
Paypal payments can be made for additional products and images via your online gallery.
When is the best time to book a newborn session?
The best time to photograph a newborn is between 5-20 days old, as this is when they are most sleepy and more easily posed.
We can reserve 2 dates to help us get the best time as we all know babies will come when they come! We will aim for around your due date and for week 43.
If baby arrives early or you know you need to change these dates, please just let me know as soon as you possibly can, so we can re-schedule.
If you have already paid for your package and are unable to attend your newborn session for health reasons, we can re-schedule for a baby session (as long as it's booked within 6 months).
I will send you a more detailed FAQ sheet for your newborn session once booked.
I also offer maternity sessions that can be booked for your third trimester.
Do you offer payment plans?
I understand that, sometimes it's difficult to find the money in 1 go to purchase professional images. Therefore I am happy to discuss a three part payment plan.
Please note that full payment would be required before any images or products are released.
Do you have a referral program?
I sometimes offer referral discounts, so look out for them advertised.
I currently offer a 5% discount for returning clients.
